Project Manager

Job Description

As project manager you will provide project oversight and leadership on major enterprise initiatives utilizing the Microsoft Framework including web services, enterprise portals and data warehouse solutions. You will be responsible for managing multiple ongoing projects at one or more of our key accounts. You will primarily be working onsite with clients and interacting with other implementation staff who spend the majority of the time working remotely.

You will work closely with the client, our implementation team and various subject matter experts in both defining requirements as well and managing the all aspects of the delivery. We will look for you to grow rapidly in both understanding of our solution as well as understanding the client’s needs.

Education Required

• Masters+3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelors+5 years of relevant experience, or other suitable qualifications

Experience Required

• Experience in data centric software development and implementation projects in the public sector or similarly complex enterprises
• VSS, SharePoint Portal Server, TFS, ASP.NET, Visio, Visual Studio, MS Office
• Excellent communication skills and hands-on experience working with service delivery teams in a distributed environment
• 3+ year technology consulting
• 3-5 years as a project manager
• Strong follow through
• Excellent account management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate project challenges and scope management
• Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables

Technical Delivery Manager

Job Description

The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for stewardship of large, cross functional development and systems integration projects for Choice. In this role you will own solution delivery and are ultimately responsible for development project leadership, management, quality, and timely delivery. You will provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation. This requires that you apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients. Doing so requires effective review of the work of the development team to recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions. Relocation & travel to unanticipated locations within U.S. may be expected in some cases.

Education Required

• Masters+3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelors+5 years of relevant experience, or other suitable qualifications

Experience Required

• User acceptance testing, business rules, mockups, sequence diagrams, SRS, storyboards & vision documentation, project planning
• VSS, SharePoint Portal Server, TFS, ASP.NET, Visio, Visual Studio, MS Office
• Databases: SQL Server & MS-Access
• Business analysis, requirements gathering, web application design
• Knowledge of education industry standards: SIF, NEDM & FERPA
• Education domain experience related to longitudinal data systems, data collection systems & student case resolution systems
• Leading teams of 10-15 people
• Serving as liaison between the Development Team, Business Analysis Group, and the client

Senior Solutions Architect

Job Description
The Senior Solutions Architect is tasked with the development and maintenance of the high-level design plan for the overall logical and technical IT architecture for Choice and our clients. In this role you will provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level. The position will require an active role in gaining organizational commitment for all high-level infrastructure plans, and initiation and participation in projects to evaluate technologies and methods for implementing these plans. The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of strategic policies, standards and procedures to ensure consistent infrastructure throughout the organization. Relocation & travel to unanticipated locations within U.S. may be expected in some cases.
